How can I redeem a FAB SHOP PRIZE AWARD?" If you have received an email advising that you have won a gift certificate from the FabShop Hop use the online cart to place your order. The order cart has a place to post comments,instructions or remarks. Remember, CERTIFICATE value is for PRODUCT ONLY and does not include shipping & ins.
It is absolutely imperative that you use this field to write a note. Use the special instructions/comment field to enter your gift certificate number. Please state the name of your award, your Prize Redemption # and the dollar amount in the comments. If you do not write us a note to advise that you are on the certificate list, we won't know to credit you the award. As long as you write in the comment field the origin of your prize, such as FAB SHOP HOP and dollar amount, we can look up the # on the master list and process the certificate even without the certificate #. OUR CART DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE your credit card. We process ALL charges manually when orders are filled. We will manually deduct the prize award amount from the order total. "How can I place an order?" You may order via mail,or shop on-line at our secure shopping site. We have a machine to take your inquiries if we are unable to answer your call personally and we will return your call as quickly as possible. If we are going to be away, our message center will advise you of our return date and that we are OUT OF THE OFFICE.
You do NOT need to enter your credit card ONLINE if you prefer NOT TO. Please do enter the items in the cart, complete the rest of the information and then indicate in the comment section whether you will be mailing your credit card payment information or whether you would like us to call you for that info. If you do not want to enter your CC info on line you may enter the order or you wish to pay by check, it is best that you use the cart to place your order and use the instruction field to advise that you wish to pay by check. We will verify availability of the items ordered and then advise you as to the final total with shipping for payment by check. We do accept money orders, cashiers checks, and personal checks. Personal checks are subject to a $30.00 returned check fee and orders will be delayed 2 weeks from receipt of check for check clearing.

Each invoice is reviewed and prepared when the order is filled, the parcel weighed and the shipping charges determined based on weight and destination.

How long will it take? Most orders are shipped within 48-96 hours if the ordered item is in stock. Depending on in-house back log and product restocking, shipping time can be 2-3 weeks. We have thousands of products that come in and out of stock contiunally. In some instances restocking can take longer. Charge cards are not processed until the order ships. PRE-ORDER or ADVANCE order items are goods that will be available in the future. These will not ship until the items actually become available which may be two or three months in the future. ADVANCE and PRE-ORDER items are labeled as such in the header, in the menu, and in the item description.
Pre-Orders or ADVANCE ORDERS are shipped when the collections or kits become available. We post info on when the manufacturer has stated an item will be produced. If the maker delays availability of an item, we will post info on the home page when we get info from the manufacturer. We will also post info on the home page such as "ARRIVED- Collections being processed for shipment, etc." Actual delivery time from shipment depends on your location. See USPS or Fed-Ex for delivery transit information. Restocking on fabric can take up to 4-8 weeks depending on makers warehouse stock and reprinting delays.
Shipping time varies depending on location.Shipping arrival time to the west cost can be 7- 10 days.
Will I receive an order confirmation? Yes, the computer will generate a confirmation of your order. If you have a question about your order, the confirmation info on how to check the status of your order. Be aware that many email filters block email and it is possible that you may not receive any email confirmation at all due even though we have made our best efforts to reach you.
What are the shipping fees The computer will provide an "educated" ESTIMATE of the shipping fees and the actual fees may be more or less. We weigh and check each and every parcel for BEST RATE-USPS vs. FED-EX Ground and will ship your parcel by BEST RATE unless you tell us in the comment section/special instructions that you must have delivery by USPS or by FED-EX. If you want to get a very estimate of the shipping fee, fill your cart and it will provide you with the estimate before you ship. 99/100 the estimate is accurate or less. 1/100 the estimate is too low.
ITEMS THAT ARE LIKELY TO INCREASE THE SHIPPING FEES: SALE FABRICS. Shipping is weight based and if you order yardage on a 3.99/yd. fabric it still weighs as much as it did when it was 8.99/yd. WIDE GOODS. 108" wide goods are heavy and usually require a BOX. BOOKS: Where at all possible we use MEDIA MAIL and ship these items separate to save you money.
WAYS TO SAVE ON SHIPPING: ORDER MORE!! Once an order exceeds two lbs, the POSTAL BOXES often provide the best shipping rate. And the standard size will hold about 20 yards of fabric. The new larger size, even more. So, item for item you save more on shipping by ordering MORE!
Will I receive a shipping confirmation? Most of the Time! and again, if your email filters out our email, you won't receive your confirmation even though we have sent one.
If your order is sent via FED-EX, you will receive an email from Vintage & Vogue.
If your order is sent via US Mail to a U.S. Destination, you will receive a shipping confirmation along with appropriate tracking info. Your shipping email confirmation will come through our shipping Program and so you may not immediately recognize the address as being a message from Vintage & Vogue.
What if I have a question?" If you want to know if there is enough of a fabric left, best way to find out is to order it and indicate minimum acceptable yardage or enter a question in comment field. All fabric is posted to the site. No additional items are available. If we are on the road, we will put a note on the top of the home page so please take a moment to check there *** We Normally reply to most inquiries within 1-3 days. How much fabric do I need to order?" Minimum cut is one-half yard. We reserve the right to send you a larger amount when your order is the "end of the bolt." For example if you order one yard, there must be at least 1/2 yard left on the bolt. If not, we will send you the additional amount. So you might be charged for 1 1/4 yards, or 1 1/3 yards, etc. On VERY large stripes, there must be one full yard left on the bolt. Yardage is available on most of our goods. If you order charm packs, select the prints you want and order as much or as little as you need. Warning: Some manufacturers print very short quantities so if you are planning a large project where you will be requiring more than 10 yards, it is best to check with us first with regards to availability. Quantities over 10 yards may require a special order and are subject to maker's stock.
What if I only want a small quantity of lots of different prints? We also feature collections, offering you as little as a fat quarter of each print in a line. This is a great way to build variety in your collection and allow you to order larger quantities of just the select prints you especially enjoy.
Can I order 5/8 of a yard?" No, please order in 1/4 yard increments beginning with a minimum cut of 1/2 yard.
Will you ship overseas?" Yes. We ship internationally on a daily basis. Outside U.S. orders are by credit card only by air or global priority service. Cost of shipping/insurance is billed to your cc. The large global envelopes hold 5-6 yards depending on the bulk of the fabric. The computer shopping cart will ESTIMATE the fee. When the order is filled, we will determine the actual cost based on how many envelopes required to hold the order. What is your return policy??
We will refund or exchange for another item, Fabric Collection purchases ONLY if returns are requested within 5 days, and items returned are in NEW, UNWASHED condition. A 25% restocking fee will be charged. KITS are not refundable but may be returned for a store credit with a 35% restocking fee when returns are requsted within 7 days. SPECIAL ORDERS, ADVANCE ORDERS AND CUSTOM KITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE OR EXCHANGEABLE. ALL returns MUST be authorized prior to shipment and returned via insured carrier. We will ship via the least expensive method. We weigh and calculate the cost of post office vs. fed-ex for each and every parcel. Often the USPS FLAT RATE BOX is the most economical means. The shopping cart will provide you with an ESTIMATE of the delivery cost. The actual cost may be Higher(rarely) or Lower(sometimes) and cannot be determined until your fabric (or order) is cut, and weighed.

What if my package doesn't arrive?
ALL ALL claims for lost parcels must be made within 30 days by speaking to a real person at 603-880-2021 or writing to us by US mail at the address posted on the home page. NO CLAIMS for lost parcels should be made by email. We are NOT RESPONSIBLE for claims of LOST PARCELS made beyond 30 days.
What about samples? Samples, or as well call them CHARMS are available in four inch squares packaged by line, such as the Cocheco Collection. Each print in the line is cut into a four inch square and packaged along with information regarding the line. You may order any print from the line with a minimum cut of one half yard, however, we do not cut individual samples. We do keep most sample sets on hand and most of them are ready to ship within 72 hours. All Charm packs are NON-Refundable and All AUTOMATIC SWATCH CLUB SHIPMENTS are NON-RETURNABLE OR EXCHANGEABLE at any item. All yardage is subject to presale and their is no guarantee that all fabric within the charm sets will remain available for purchase in yardage.
